I’m very excited to finally introduce to you the first and only FDA approved injectable gel in the U.S. for intradermal injections targeting hydration and smoothness of the skin! Trust me when I say your cheeks will be glowing in no time!
The European beauty industry is very different from the U.S., so you can imagine my frustration when there are different offerings here compared to back home in Ukraine. Before I moved to the U.S. in 2008, I remember the popularity of a common injectable treatment for skin hydration and improvement called “a mesotherapy.” This treatment entails multiple intradermal injections of a mixture of compounds in minimal doses, by using very fine needles. It was initially invented in France. Mesotherapy was and still is a very common treatment in Europe, but when I moved to the states I was beyond surprised that I couldn’t find anyone who offered this treatment. Who wouldn‘t want hydrated skin? I soon discovered the FDA didn’t approve such treatments in the U.S. – until now!
When I heard Allergan’s new FDA approved product, SkinVive, was on the market, I was excited to finally offer this treatment – and even receive it. According to Allergan Medical Institute, 47 million consumers are bothered by skin quality issues, including dull skin lacking glow, and 85% of those people have considered addressing those skin quality issues with some type of treatment. SkinVive is likely to improve many of those concerns.
In my own experience, when I ask my clients what bothers them the most, one of the most common answers is: “dry lifeless skin” and cue the SkinVive!
