What is Self Care?
Self care looks different for each and every one of us — as it should, being that we are all unique. For myself, it means approaching each day with grace and purpose. Grace, rooted in kindness by making time for the little moments that bring me joy, despite having a full schedule. Purpose is the drive behind all that I get to do each day. Whether it be fueling my body with nutrients, educating my mind, sweating out toxins, or expanding my consciousness; I am always moving with intent to honor my body mentally and physically.
The daily practice of care for oneself should be a culmination of acts to help avoid burnout. We are a world of doers — movers and shakers if you will — we live under this preconceived notion that life is always on the go. I have found that making the time for slowness, incorporating care and honoring my needs, is what allows me to keep doing whatever it is that fuels my fire each day — and what keeps it burning. A saying I express in sessions with clients is that “you can’t pour from an empty cup.” This assertion embodies the wholeness we are all capable and innately deserving of having. Living in wholeness translates to the ability of giving ones energy towards others, without depletion of peace within.

The Vitamin Injections of Vitamin B12 are one of my favorite services offered. It is safe to say that most of us are deficient in this due to the lack of nutrients in our soil. Especially those like myself who consume a plant-based diet.
